The First Look
I walked with purpose to the carriage house at Alexander Homestead where Caroline patiently waited to see her groom. Just moments before I left Stephen along a winding garden path with tears of anticipation in his eyes. He was finally going to marry Caroline. THIS WAS HAPPENING! Caroline elegantly strolled the path with her ombre dipped dress and grinned from ear to ear as she tapped her groom on the shoulder. Tears of joy had already been streaming down Stephen’s happy face as he took in his beautiful bride. The moment was thick with a flurry of beautiful emotions. Caroline & Stephen’s Alexander Homestead wedding was beyond romantic! It was breathtaking!
The Couple
Caroline and Stephen are that couple that you can’t help but love. They’re kind, easy going, and love to show their love through both their actions and words. They’ve got giant hearts for people and it shines through in everything they do. So when we met them, we obviously fell in love with them and hope we’re besties forever. 😉 In all seriousness tho, we have become friends through this whole wedding process and I was jumping with joy to be able to capture every minute of their special day!
The Venue
Back in the winter of 2018, Caroline and Stephen told us all about their wedding venue, Alexander Homestead. I immediately jumped online to investigate this charming venue and I couldn’t help but want to see more. I reached out to the venue to do an interview and preview the grounds. So on a cold March day, I became smitten with Alexander Homestead just like I did with Caroline and Stephen. So when I arrived on the perfect fall day, my heart fluttered to see everything in bloom! From the historic home to the picture-perfect gardens, Alexander Homestead is an incredible wedding venue!
So you can imagine how much fun Daniel and I had during the ceremony & reception. Between the tears of joy, epic photo locations, and a killer party, we couldn’t be happier with Caroline & Stephen’s romantic Alexander Homestead wedding. Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts. We loved being part of your incredible day and we can’t wait to see you again very soon!
