Yesterday I got to tell you all about how amazing St. Thomas is and how gorgeous the venue was. Let me just say that all of that doesn’t compare to how amazing Amanda, Art and their families & friends are! Not only did they bring me in like I was a long lost family member, including me in all things, but they are some of the kindest and most genuine people you will ever meet. You really get to know a persons character pretty quickly when you fly at 5am in the morning and then spend 3 days straight getting ready for and being part of a high pressure event! These folks are the cream of the crop!
Do you know what Amanda did the morning of her wedding (besides getting pampered and beautified! 😉 ). She wrote these beautiful letters to everyone in her wedding! She took the time to give to others on her wedding day and let them know how precious they are to her. I mean really? Who does that unless they are utterly wonderful? And sweet Amanda is! Then you have Art who is just as thoughtful and considerate as Amanda. Together you could not find a more sweet and loving team. If anyone was able to take over the world with kindness…it’d be them!
Oh yeah, and did I mention they also LOVE the picture part of the wedding day? I’m sure that could be apparent by their great taste in photographers 😉 but, they went above and beyond!  So not only did a get a full morning of getting ready pictures and details, a gorgeous tropical venue on a picture perfect day, but I got MULTIPLE opportunities to do formals with just Amanda and Art!
After their ceremony, which was the sweetest…and sweatiest that I’ve captured yet! We hopped in a jeep with their videographer and host and headed to the point of Megan’s Bay. We spent at least 2 hours just playing around on the rocks with amazing light and views! We then ventured back to the Sand Dollar for an evening of toasts, stories, love, and joy! It all ended with a giant pool party! I don’t have pictures of that…well because I was in the pool and my camera doesn’t particularly like the water…;)
It was such a glorious day! When I look out the window and see gray skies and snow flakes in the air I just want to hop in a plane and go back…of course I’d need Amanda and Art to come too because it just wouldn’t be the same without them!
Tomorrow we’re going to adventure to St. John where we went for Amanda & Art’s Day After session! Stay tuned!!
xoxoxo,

The dolphins only come into Magen’s Bay once a year…guess what day they picked?
