Wendy and Dave have such a warmth about them! Though rain and clouds threatened to wash us out, their sunny outlook on life brightened everything! Even when I lost my keys, I really didn’t worry about that. Wendy and Dave are just that amazing! Luckily I found them a week later getting ready for another wedding. Go figure right?
The overcast skies made for beautiful light all day long! I am so in love with Wendy’s getting ready pictures. I dance a little inside when I see how the light was hitting her! WEEE!
The reception party was such a blast to capture. Their guestlist was full of amazing characters to photograph! I still laugh thinking about some of the great moments we had that night! Thank you to Wendy and Dave! You were both so sweet and generous to Tim and I! We absolutely adored spending the day with you!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
The entire day was awesome. Here are some of the most memorable: the electricity coming on moments before the wedding was to start; first moment greeting and holding each other’s hand; exchanging vows; photos in the rose garden; our dance; Ariana and Anthony drawing us so many pictures of us; during the father/daughter dance, talking to my daughter about dancing with her someday at her wedding; during the father daughter dance the bride’s father danced with the groom first, the speeches our brothers made – truly wonderful and memorable. Hearing that our 5 year old cousin does not want to attend another wedding until it is her own because ours was just too much fun!!
What was your favorite detail?
The music and singing during the wedding ceremony. Also, each place card had a picture of the person/couple on their card. It made for great table conversations and added a special touch to the day; plus the holders were hand made with special love phrases. But, I loved all the detail from the centerpieces that illuminated pictures from when we got engaged in Italy, our favors of chocolates from Italy with love poems in the wrapper, and all the flowers arrangements.
Any advice for future bride & grooms?
Once the wedding ceremony begins, just let go and enjoy the ride. As long as you’re with each other, nothing else really matters. Get as good a night’s sleep as you can the night before so you’re awake, aware and able to truly experience the whole wedding day. Throughout the entire day, take a moment with your spouse and take it all in and remember that all these people are here because they love and support you.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Well there was one in the limo bus we won’t mention. At the reception, our friend Bridgette being put on the spot to do an interpretive dance to Britney Spears, and our friend Fonz joining her with his own dance. Also, the numerous strange positions the bridesmaids got into as they fixed/adjusted Wendy’s dress!
If you had to do it all over, would you change anything?
Not one thing! Except make it longer. I would do it all over again!!!!!
What was your favorite wedding purchase?
The engagement ring and wedding bands. The gifts for our wedding party. My wedding dress and shoes. The shoes had hearts on the bottom of them and they were comfortable!!!!!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
NYC for a few days before departing on a seven day cruise to the Bahamas
What is your favorite wedding photo and why?
To be quite honest, there are too many wonderful pictures to choose just one. I love the picture of my Maid of Honor under my dress strapping on my shoes; the picture of my husband carrying me over the threshold; my little puppy, Madison, giving me a kiss; and so many other’s that I could go on forever!! You guys did such an amazing job!!! We couldn’t be happier with the pictures!!
