Sometimes you can plan, plan, plan, and then a snowpocolyps comes and throws all those plans out the window. Our very full weekend came to a screeching halt when it became clear that the fluffy white stuff was going to hit. But in stead of moping about because we couldn’t see those plans through, we chose to go play in the snow! Statesville, NC received between 6 & 7 inches of powder depending on where you measured and Daniel and I made sure to make those most of it! Saturday morning we took it slow, made paleo waffles, and enjoyed some snuggle time with our fur babies. We then ventured out into the cold, tripod in tow, and took some fun…but cold…portraits. Daniel would rather we just do the day in the life stuff, but I had to capitalize on this moment to utilize our snowy little street! Who knows when this will come again! Any who, here’s our lazy, snowy Saturday for your enjoyment. Sunday we put the cameras away and went sledding! Sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment right?
