Daniel and I visited Timberlake Earth Sanctuary for Grace & Reed’s engagement session. It’s so beautiful there, I could spend hours taking pictures and still discover more. It’s easy to see why Grace and Reed love it so much! With lush green forests, wide open fields, and the sounds of nature surrounding us. It’s a treasure! I’m surprised that this spot is only 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Greensboro, NC. It feels like we’re ages away from civilization!
Engagement Session Fears
We met Grace and Reed at Katie & Sam’s wedding last year. So when they contacted us about their wedding it was an absolute delight to reconnect with them! At first they weren’t sure they wanted to have an engagement session. A lot of people don’t love the idea of being in front of the camera more than they have to. These two had nothing to worry about because they’re naturals! You see the key to being comfortable in your photographs is to be yourself. We’ll guide you where we can, give you tips on how to pose. However, your personality & love for one another is what truly makes your session shine! It always takes some time, but by the end of the session you’ll be completely comfortable. It also doesn’t hurt to bring an adorable distraction like Grace & Reed’s Greyhound Ruby! She was so sweet and a great companion to bring along and interact with!
We loved getting to know Grace and Reed and I can’t wait to for their wedding in just a few months!
Love the shot of them jumping over the grass and so many more!!
That’s one of my faves too! They have mad jumping skills! 😉
