I love when I get to capture anniversary sessions. Married couples have such a different vibe when they’re photographed. While engaged couples have tons of excitement, married couples have a richness to their love. It’s beautiful to witness!

About Jessa and Aaron

Jessa literally exudes joy where ever she goes! Aaron is the calm to her crazy. They’re just like Daniel & I! It’s so crazily awesome to see the same dynamic I have with my husband in another couple! Just like Daniel does to me, I’m sure Aaron balances her out perfectly with his quiet and calm! After 16 years of marriage and 3 beautiful girls, they don’t get many opportunities to be alone. This photo shoot was the perfect excuse to just “be” with each other! Jessa and Aaron definitely took that time and had so much fun during this shoot- and it’s clear to see. It gives me such joy that hey’re still ridiculously head over heels for each other! It’s so great to shoot married couples who are still just as crazy about each other as the first day they met.

Shooting on a Rainy Day

It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten to explore uptown Charlotte with a beautiful couple. The passing rain showers gave everything a slight glimmer. While the grey clouds cast a monochromatic color scheme, they worked in our favor. The whole thing looked perfect with what Jessa & Aaron were wearing. We found some incredibly cool architectural elements. They played beautifully off of Jessa’s white art deco dress! We barely went more than 2 or 3 blocks around the city and found so many amazing places to shoot. Charlotte has a wealth of photo opportunities and I’m so excited to be shooting there a bunch this year!
