I’ll never tire of watching a family grow. It’s seriously the coolest part of this job and I talk about it almost every maternity blog I post. To go from engagement, to wedding, and now starting a family. Wow, it’s the coolest story ever! I recently got to travel up to NY for a week of photo shoots. It was so fun to reconnect with past clients like Katie & Corey. I shot their Aderondack wedding 4 years ago. It was magical! So of course when they told me they were preggers with a sweet baby girl I couldn’t be more excited for them!
After a lot of deliberation we decided on Green Lakes State Park for their session. Green Lakes is one of those locations I could shoot at forever and still find cool new spots. The romance of Green Lakes is that depending on the season you get different looks, but the one constant is the gorgeous emerald water. It’s unlike anywhere else I’ve been and makes for a breathtaking backdrop!
We all had a wonderful time wandering all the Green Lakes has to offer. Katie was a champ with 5 weeks to go until her due date! I’m still amazing, she didn’t complain once about all the walking we did. It was totally worth it, one of my favorite maternity sessions to date! I’m so honored I could capture this time together before sweet baby Nora makes her appearance!
