I got to check an epic wedding venue off my bucket list. Castle LadyHawke is a dreamy venue that makes you sigh when you see pictures. It’s a legit castle nestled in the North Carolina mountains and let me tell you it is even more beautiful in person! I was so excited when Madison & Jarrod chose this amazing destination.

Speaking of Madison and Jarrod, you never know moments in your life that will lead to epic relationships. I met Madison years ago. She volunteered to model for me when I was considering launching a new brand. We had so much fun that day but didn’t see each other again after that. Fast forward 8 or 9 years and Madison has relocated to Michigan and was getting married. She reached out and told me there was no other photographer she wanted for her wedding. Wow, what an honor!

Their day finally came. The forecast called for sunny skies all day. Why then, North Carolina, did you bring thunderstorms right as they were supposed to be getting married OUTSIDE? Thankfully Madison and Jarrod know how to hire an incredible team because we all worked together to get everyone outside just as the rain subsided. We managed to squeeze in all the photos just as big fat raindrops started to fall. None of us were mad about it tho, because it makes for some of the prettiest misty mountain photos you ever did see!

Madison & Jarrod’s wedding was out of a fairytale! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to capture your day. It was magical crazy fun!
