I got my new cell phone case in the mail this week! I’m in love with the twin lens reflex case! Thanks everyone!

It’s pretty plain for those who know me that I”m a work-a-holic, taskmaster, list lover extraordinaire! My desk always has at least 1 list if not 10 lists strewn about. I’ve tried things like taskmaster.com or the sticky notes that comes with a Mac, but it’s just not the same. I love being able to scribble out a task. Yes, it may not be as environmentally friendly but for now my hand written lists make me happy! One of my lists is my “Goal List.” I have a short term side & a long term side. Back in January I blogged some of my goals for this year and now that it’s over 1/2 way through, I thought i’d reassess where I am.

Here are some of my goals for 2011:

Read the Bible in a year (again) // Doing well on this one
Spend more quality time with God in prayer & devotions // Just bought some amazing books that I can’t wait to read with my morning devotions!
Read more business books // Now I need to buy more business books so I can read them…slacker on this one.
Book 25 to 30 weddings // I didn’t reach my goal number wise, but I’m fine financially so the number isn’t as important as I thought.
Re-start a gym routine // This has been going in and out, I was doing great for awhile but since it got really crazy over the summer I let it go. Now i’m trying hard to get it going again.
Reduce debt! // slowly but surely!
Re-brand & re-vamp my website & business // I did a mild revamp on the site but a HUGE revamp is in the works. I just saw a preview last week and it made me drool! I’m not sure when it’ll be released but when it is ya’ll are going to be bloooown away! 🙂
Find an office space // Check!
Take a knitting class // Not yet, but I wont count it out. I’d still really love to do it. Maybe in the Fall.
Connect with more photographers in the Central NY area & build relationships // I’ve met so many new photogs in the area! I love it!

So what are your goals for the rest of this year?

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take a day off and go out to Darien Lake with some friends. It had literally been at least 10 years since the last time I went. It was fun, but I think we did more waiting than riding.
Speaking of waiting, while we were waiting to go on our last right of the day, “The Ride of Steel,” a cart got stuck and then the roller coaster started to make a strange sound. I turned around to see the giant chain that helps pull the cart along come tumbling down! Luckily no one was hurt, but those poor people were stuck in that cart for awhile and had to walk down the emergency stairs on the side. It was crazy, plus it happened a whole 20ft away from me so that was another punch of crazy.
p.s. Have I mentioned how in love with my iphone I am? Yeah…it’s my 3rd arm!
