I have so many amazing sessions to blog in the next few weeks! Ah! I know i’ve been running a little behind and I’m sure some of you have been photo deprived, but fear not. My blog will be in over drive for the next few months! Woohoo!

And what better way to jump back into things than with a 60’s vintage picnic?! Yesssssssssssss!!! Liz & Alton wanted to do a fabulous Mad Men inspired You + Me session. Oh the terribly booooooooring life I lead!….(if you didn’t catch the sarcasm in that then um email me and we’ll have a chat 😉 ) So with some prop help from the ladies at The Deserted Attic, we put together this vintage picnic complete with authentic 60’s plaid picnic gear. Liz’s dress was even authentic! The material was so fragile and beautiful. Al definitely reminds me of Harry Crane or Paul Kinsey  (two of my fave characters!) in his slacks and comfy sweater. They are the PERFECT vintage couple! I really felt as if I were transported back to the 60’s!

After the picnic we opted to stroll around the Erie Canal park and do some casual shots as well. The lighting was SO GOOD! Who else do you know that gets this excited about light? Really…I’m a bit obsessed…
