Tomorrow I leave for NY for Christmas “holiday.” I say “holiday” because I’m going to be working my tail off in NY for the 2 weeks I’m there. One of these days I’ll go up to NY for a real visit, not a working one.

Since I’ll be traveling on my normal blogging day, I thought it would be nice to share with you my new Kernersville, North Carolina families! These beauties are some of my new closest friends. I don’t normally do mini sessions. I really like to spend time with families and get to know them better while taking pictures, but I made an exception for these 5 families. I spent 30 minutes with each group and expected only to get 1 or 2 good group shots from each. 30 minutes is not much time for people to feel comfortable with a camera in their face OR for children to warm up to you. But, because these families had been getting to know me for the past few months each session was surprisingly problem free! If only all of my photo shoots went as smoothly as these did!
Well throw everything I thought was going to happen out the window, because I ended up with TONS of beautiful shots. It was so hard for me to choose what to put up here! I’m so excited to be sharing my gifts with my new friends. I hope you’ll see more of the faces in the future!
