For creative professionals, it’s not easy to balance your career with everything else in life. It’s especially difficult if you have other responsibilities outside of work. Whether you’re a freelance designer or developer or run your own business, managing your time can be a challenge. There are a lot of tools out there to help you stay organized and keep track of all the different things that need to get done on any given day—but they can often be complicated or confusing. Here are six helpful resources for busy creatives:
If you’re looking for a content creation platform, Copy.ai is one of the best options out there. It has a built-in AI that helps you find your voice and create blogs, sales pages, or any other kind of content that suits your needs.
The tool is free to use but if you want more features and access to premium templates (like this one) then upgrading will cost $20/month or $180/year.
Trello is a free online project management tool that lets you track everything from your daily tasks to long-term goals. The best part? You can use it across multiple devices, so you’re never left without access to your lists.
Trello’s interface is easy enough for anyone who has used any digital organizer before but has enough bells and whistles to appeal to even more advanced users (like myself). The main screen shows all of your boards–think “folders”–and each board has its own set of lists within it. These lists are where all the action happens: they can be used for anything from grocery shopping lists or tracking bill payments to creating workflows around social media posts or blog posts like this one! You can even add checklists within each list item if need be!
Google Calendar is a great tool for keeping track of appointments, meetings and deadlines. It’s also useful for planning your day–you can set reminders on specific tasks so they don’t get lost in the shuffle. If you have coworkers who need to know what you’re up to next week (or if you want them to), add them as collaborators so they can see what’s on your agenda without having access to all of your personal information.
Planoly is an online tool that helps you create beautiful social media posts. It’s a great resource for social media marketers and brands looking to streamline their marketing efforts.
Showit is a tool that makes it easy to create beautiful websites. You can build a site in minutes, and Showit has plenty of features to help you make your site stand out from the crowd:
Canva is a free design tool that makes it easy to create professional designs. The site has a ton of templates and images, as well as fonts and clipart. You can also use Canva’s shapes to make your own custom design.
You can download your finished product in PDF, JPEG or PNG format–which means you don’t have to save it on your computer if you don’t want to!
Use these tools to manage your creative business!
These are just a few tools to help you keep your creative business in order. I know it can be overwhelming to figure out which ones work best for your needs and budget, but don’t worry! I’ve got plenty more resources on our blog if these don’t seem like they fit into your workflow quite yet.
