When Amanda contacted me about possibly shooting her wedding, I suggested we get together over coffee & chat. Unfortunately they’re based in Texas, so that was a little more difficult than I had initially planned. 😉 Luckily, the beauty of technology allowed us to Skype with each other! My gut is usually a good gauge and I immediately knew that Amanda, Bill, & I would get along brilliantly! After they officially booked me for their 2012 wedding, I received an email letting me know when they’d be visiting NY to plan and get together with me for their You + Me Engagement Session. I sent them a reply with some questions & various inspirational links to help them plan (visit the inspiration section of my website to see the same links). To my extreme delight, Amanda & Bill were inspired by a “Water for Elephants” shoot that they saw. So we put together our own vintage / travel inspired shoot!  It’s one of my favorites to date! Thank you so much Amanda & Bill for being inspired & inspiring me! I had such a wonderful time with you both!
xoxoxo,
Mabyn
I brought my vintage suit cases along, they were a perfect little accent!
Amanda & Bill are bargin hunters after my own heart! Look at those cool bottles! I need to get some.
Doesn’t Amanda look like she stepped right out of a black and white film? Stunning! Alternative career choice? 😉
One of my favorites of the day!
My other favorite! So elegant!
For the last part of the session, Amanda & Bill weren’t as vintage, but we kept the trave theme going!
After Med school, Amanda & Bill plan on traveling to Africa to help those with out medical care. Don’t you love them even more now?!
