Five years ago Janaka & Christian said “I do.” A new city and 2 sweet children later their separate lives have merged into a beautiful family. To celebrate this milestone they contacted Daniel and I for glam anniversary session in their town. We didn’t have to go far to be surrounded by beautiful Christmas lights the perfect accent to their glamorous outfits!

Impending Snow Storm

The week leading up to their session a giant snow storm threatened to derail our plans. Winter storm “Diego” (why are we naming snow storms now?) was suppose to hit on Saturday. Thankfully, God heard my prayers because Diego slowed his roll and didn’t make his appearance till Sunday morning! Which meant our photo shoot was ON!

So we met on a chilly December afternoon ready with layers and plenty of tissues! Daniel is a true southerner and froze his booty off while I felt like I was back home in CNY. Thankfully Christian and Janaka had each other to stay warm. We made sure they snuggled A LOT! Oh darn right? 

Greensboro Has My Heart

This little photo shoot made me so nostalgic for Greensboro. It wasn’t that long ago that I was sharing a studio space with some of my favorite ladies just down the street. I love this little city and it will forever hold a special place in my heart just as it does for Janaka & Christian. Thank you both for choosing us to capture this great moment in your lives!
