I love that all of our clients are wildly unique! Some are all about romance while others are all about goofy faces! Some are foodies while others are gamers. The one thing that ties all of our couples together, is their desire to have their personalities reflected in their photographs. Something that happily keeps us coming back to this job over and over!
Hilary & David in NoDa
Meet Hilary & David a mix of both romance & silly, foodie & gamer. When we met them earlier this year we instantly connected! We’re both uber geeky and are kinda sorta foodies! We opted to start their session at an arcade in Charlotte’s NoDa district. Abari is full of amazing vintage games right up Hilary & David’s alley! Not to mention they have a killer Yoda mural on the outside of the building that makes the inner geek in me squeal!
Part Deux – Lake Norman State Park
Afterwards we grabbed some lunch at Cabo Fish Taco before exploring all that NoDa has to offer! I’ve been itching to shoot here for awhile, all of the bight colorful murals are so hard to resist! We powered up with some coffee from Smelly Cat Cafe then made the journey north bound to Lake Norman State Park. We were hoping for a little more greenery, everything is so close to blooming! But the quiet winter look is still beautiful and we managed to find a small patch of green at the end!
Why Engagement Sessions Rock!
Getting to know Hilary & David, how they interact together, will help us on their wedding day. We can look for specific things and prepare for awesome moments. Telling their unique story. We know that David’s snuggle tolerance is limited while Hilary will take ALL THE SNUGGLES! We know they live for sarcastic humor & will happily make faces at my camera. We know that these two, are absolutely crazy for each other and their wedding day will be a non stop fun fest! We can’t wait for May!
