Kernersville, NC has some incredible locations for family portraits. I love exploring each new spot and seeing how families interact in that environment. Sometimes it’s a new spot for them, sometimes it their own home. The later is the case for the Smith Family.

Their home abuts their neighbors horse farm which the whole family loves! I’m pretty sure the horses love them too because they kept following us around the whole session! I may have to go back and just do a horse portrait session because goodness gracious they were all about my cameras (as proven by the photo bomb below)!

I love the Smith family oooooodles, especially because they were so so so so cold when we did this session, but man was it worth it!  A huge thanks to the Smith men for playing along even though I know it wasn’t easy for them sometimes! 😉 I think my favorite part had to be the leaf battle at the end. Everyone had fun with that one!

I only wish these images captured the size of this families heart. They’re always giving of themselves and loving on others! Thank you Smith Family for your amazing-ness! I love you!
