There are a lot of pitfalls to moving. One of them being all of your normal vendors are hundreds of miles away. Dentist, doctor, gym classes, and especially your hair stylist! So finding new people that you trust with things like your teeth, health, and hair are pretty stinking important. I’ve met some great people while finding the perfect fit, but sometimes you just gotta find the one that ‘gets’ you.

Enter Shannon.

Shannon and I met because a mutual friend had her hair done and I just LOVED it. I got her name and promptly set up an appointment. As soon as I sat down in her chair I knew we were going to be friends! Her joyful attitude and attention to detail put me at ease immediately and it didn’t hurt that she made my luscious locks look FANTASTIC! From that moment on I knew I could trust Shannon with my hair implicitly. Since that first meeting we’ve gotten increasingly crazy with my hair going from just a cut and style to full on ombre awesome! I get to see her at the end of this month as a matter of fact and I am just so pumped to see what she’s going to do next!

So it was a joy when Shannon asked to have me photograph her incredible family! They came on over to Cre8 and we explored the property all the while having a blast! We ran, hugged, laughed, cuddled, and even threw leaves! I adore her and her hilarious family and I have a feeling that this is just the start of many a photo shoot with this group! I can’t help but smile every time I look at these photos. I hope they bring you all some joy today too!
