It’s officially New Years Eve. The last day of 2010!
The year was full of twists and turns for me personally. Some of the crazy events that occured in 2010 included; moving to a new apartment (in the middle of wedding season!), one of my best friends getting married in Nicaragua, and leaving Picture Infinity to start my own wedding business! Phew! And that’s just the tip of the ice burg!
I was so blessed with my clients this year. You all encouraged me to be the best photographer that I could be. I still talk with most of you on a regular basis. It’s so wonderful to know that my clients have now turned into friends. I really am the luckiest girl alive! Who else can say that about their business?
At the beginning of every year, I set some goals for myself. Both personal & artistically. During 2010 I met all of my goals in both areas of my life! It wasn’t easy, but the process really helped me identify who I am as a person and as a photographer.
Here are some of my goals for 2011:
Read the Bible in a year (again)
Spend more quality time with God in prayer & devotions
Read more business books
Book 25 to 30 weddings
Re-start a gym routine
Reduce debt!
Re-brand & re-vamp my website & business
Find an office space
Take a knitting class
Connect with more photographers in the Central NY area & build relationships
That’s just the beginning. I don’t believe in New Years Resolutions because I feel like they can so easily be disregarded by the middle of January. So I am not resolving. Instead, I will attempt to achieve, and if I fail the first time around I will try again and again until I achieve my goals!
A few things that I’m looking forward to in 2011:
A New brand & website! It’s going to be soooooo amazing!
Meeting with and getting to know my new Brides & Grooms for the 2011 season
New equipment….I may be switching to Nikon this year…..
Blogging all about my new products! I have an album that you MUST see!
A new contest for my 2011 wedding clients!
And all of the joys that God will bring my way!
Thank you so much to everyone who helped shape 2010! It was definitely a year to be remembered!
I will leave you all with a slideshow of MY favorite engagment & wedding photos.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
