It’s Friday! For most people that means they get to relax & do fun summery stuff. For me, that means it’s GO TIME! I get to spend the whole weekend shooting and there’s nothing I’d rather be doing! Today I get to mosey on down to Ithaca & shoot with one of my gorgeous friends & her fiance for their You + Me Session. Tomorrow is full of the Syracuse wedding goodness of Amy & James, and Sunday I get to spend with Liz and Mike jaunting around the city….there might even be a motorcycle involved if i’m lucky! Busy but amazing! I love this time of year!
I’ve been doing some research on blogging and how to do it effectively. Apparently I don’t do enough on the personal side of life…I think that’s mainly due to the fact that my business is my life! When you’re single & run your own business there isn’t a whole lot of free time for much else. Not that i’m complaining. It’s in my blood! I guess I’m just going to have to become more interesting eh? So I’d thought I’d start with a couple of my favorite things other than taking pictures of amazing people!
1) Coffee – I have become an official addict. Although I am not as hard core as others, coffee is essential for my morning routine and to be at my best during the day. I use to be a hardcore tea drinker. No way would coffee taint my cultured pallet…that was until I turned 25 and went on a roadtrip with some of my besties where we were driving late hours and needed to keep each other awake. I blame Panera & their carmel froofy drink…it did me in. Over the past few years I’ve gone from super sugary drinks that have a hint of coffee in them to drinking bold blends with just a hint of cream. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to the point where I drink it black, but I’m ok with that.
2) Harry Potter – Yes, I love that messy haired, glasses wearing, wand wielding kid! I devoured the books years ago & just went to the midnight showing of the last movie. It was bittersweet & OH SO FUN! My friends and I took pictures with people who dressed up, hooted & hollered through out the movie, & waited until the credits officially ended before leaving the theatre. Now I need to find a new fantasy book series to quench my geeky thirst!
Alright, lastly I’ll leave you with a tantelizing little tid bit from last weekends beautiful Cazenovia wedding! Here they are folks, the fabulous Catharine & Ben!
