Amrita & Vishwan’s wedding extravaganza started at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham, NC way before I got there to capture their fun filled Sangeet. It was full of performances, henna, & lots of excitement in anticipation for the big day.
Then before the sun got up from it’s slumber, these two were getting ready for their incredible wedding day (designed by the talented LadyBird Events!) Morning was brimming with all sorts of color and smiles, ceremonies and hugs, leading up to when they saw each other for the first time. I wont pretend to know the significance of each and every moment they had during their ceremony, but it definitely kept me on my toes! I can’t decide which moment was my favorite, when they threw rice on each other or fighting to get the ring first or the beautiful moment when all of the women in the family bestowed gifts on Amrita. It was a an emotional and beautiful ceremony.
We all then took a break to eat and rest before heading into their lively reception! Again there were so many emotional moments, both parent dances had me tearing up, and Amrita & Vishwan’s first dance was a great mashup of songs that spoke about their relationship! Both bridesmaids and groomsmen proved to have some serious dance skills with an awesome dance battle and guests enjoyed top of the line entertainment all night long!
These two are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. During their whole wedding process they were more concerned with the well being of their family, friends, and even vendors than themselves. It was such a great day to capture, It was hard to put my camera down at the end of the night! Thank you to Amrita & Vishwan for allowing me to capture your incredible wedding experience, it was such a great honor!
