As promised, here is part 2 of Cari & Amol’s wedding extravaganza at the Grandover Hotel & Spa in Greensboro, NC.
After Cari & Amol so willingly played in the rain, they went back to their hotel rooms to prepare for the 2nd ceremony they’d embark on. That’s right folks, not one but TWO weddings in one day! Cari & Amol REALLLY wanted to be married. 😉 Just kidding, but what isn’t funny is how much these two care about their families and heritage. They went back and forth several times on whether or not to have two ceremonies, but in the end the desire to honor their legacy prevailed. Both ceremonies were rich with moments and people that mean so much to this dear couple.
The American ceremony took place in the same ball room, with a few of the same elements, but somehow looked COMPLETELY different! Again, my hat goes to Apara of LadyBird Events for creating such a visually stunning setting for Cari & Amol to wed. I’m particularly in love with the berry, blue, & gold theme…not that my living room reflects that at all...Anyway, the ceremony was lovely & filled with family & friends standing beside and helping to marry these two for the 2nd time. Even their puppy Dooba was there celebrating! He barked his approval as they made their official “first kiss!”
Then onto the amazing reception where, let me tell you, these two knew how to party! There were glow sticks, smoke bombs, sparklers, and everybody knew how to DANCE! It was a hoot to photograph! I’m also a little obsessed with Cari’s wedding dress and how it flowed in the hurricane force winds. I am SO stoked to have such adventurous clients who will embrace the elements to get some fantastic shots! Cari & Amol were up for anything and everything all while being their sweet selves. The perfect combination! Thank you Cari & Amol for allowing Daniel & I into your fantastically colorful and emotional world. We adored every minute!
XOXOXO,
Mabyn
