Change of Plans

Sometimes last-minute changes make for great photographs. Originally I was meant to meet Sydney at a salon as she and her girls got ready. However, their amazing salon ladies were lightening fast and they were finishing up just as we were set to arrive. Sydney asked if we could go to her childhood home to take photos instead. I’m so glad we did! Now Sydney has even more beautiful memories captured there. It was just that extra special touch on an extra special day.

The Venue

We then all traveled to one of my favorite wedding venues in Charlotte, Alexander Homestead! As always the crew there ran a tight ship and Sydney & Jesse’s classic Alexander Homestead wedding went off without a hitch! I can always expect the highest level of professionalism and care from the AH team. They sure love their couples and it shows!

Sweeter than Pie

Sydney’s tender heart was on her sleeve that day as she spent quality time with her bridesmaids, gave her father a loving personalized gift, and I was especially smitten when Sydney & Jesse snuck around the door of the barn to say a prayer together. Y’all could not find a sweeter couple around that day!
