Life Gets In The Way
Sometimes you can try and try and life just keeps getting in the way of your wedding plans. So what do you do in that instance? Elope of course! Joanna & Rich decided they’d rather be married than to struggle with details of a big wedding and I don’t blame them! When you’re neck deep in wedding planning, the struggle is real! I had so much fun with these two and their family running around for their modern uptown Charlotte elopment.
How It’s All Connected
Even cooler yet, I met Joanna almost 9 years ago, roughly when I first started shooting weddings. She was the go to girl at Alysse & Dylan’s wedding back in upstate NY. Somehow we both moved to the Charlotte area and just like that we get to reconnect almost a decade later. This industry never ceases to amaze me!
It’s been quite the journey leading up to this point for Joanna & Rich. A total photo worthy event with family & delicious desserts from Amelie’s to cap it all off. Thank you Joanna & Rich for choosing me to document this special little pocket of your story together. It was truly perfect and wonderful!
