What a way to kick of my 2016 wedding season! Summer & Bernard’s wedding was just flawless! We had only met briefly over skype, but it was easy to tell how fun and genuine Summer and Bernard were just from that short interaction.
So when their wedding day came along, I wasn’t even a bit surprised to see such beautiful emotion and love from this couple and their families! I just can’t get over how expressive Summer is! She and I are cut from the same cloth, we wear our emotions on our sleeves and it makes for some fantastic memories!
Revolution Mills and Adrienne Spinner Events nailed this wedding! Everything was on point and it was so easy to photograph! I love when all of the vendors comes together to great some serious magic for our couples. At the end of everything, I left with a giant smile on my face because I knew this was how I wanted to set the tone for this year. Great clients, great venues, and great vendors. It set the bar high, but 2016 has yet to disappoint!

Tell me about the planning process of your wedding:
My planning was 90% done via online research with a few recommendations hear and there. With the help of my parents, fiance and matron of honor we all pulled together to meet with vendors, reserve venues, and accept delivery of online purchases made for the wedding. Pink is my favorite color and Navy is my husbands favorite so it was an easy decision to make Pink and Navy with hints of Gold our wedding colors. -
Probably figuring out the table decorations. I went through a lot of ideas that lead me back to the very first idea. You know what they say, always go with your first mind!

The Ceremony, followed by our first dance with our parents.

I think when our officiant shared the story of how we met, and how Bernard worked with my mom to design my ring. “Bernard went to Jared’s”!

Have more time at the reception. Everything else was PERFECT! Literally not exaggerating PERFECT!

Don’t allow yourself (brides) get caught up in minutia that can cause you to be a “bridezilla”. Make decisions and stick to them. As a couple decide what you want the most out of your special day, and let those things be your focus during your planning.

Mabyn came highly recommended from one of her Best friends. I loved the photography on her site, and she was very quick to respond to our email introduction. I loved her personality when we spoke on the phone, her ease of payment for her services, and her professionalism was ON POINT! She was an absolute Delight to work with.

We did a meet and greet via skype and she smiled the whole time, and just had great energy! She seemed to understand get what Berndard and I wanted and got a good sense of our personalities.
