Ready for the next chapter in Rachna & Bharat’s amazing wedding weekend? ME TOO!

So in American culture it’s typical for us to have a “rehearsal wedding & dinner.” This is where we go through all of the motions of what the wedding day will look like and then we have a dinner with those involved in the wedding party. Typically they’re smaller than the wedding & have less to do with celebration than practice.

After experiencing Rachna & Bharat’s Sangeet, I thoroughly believe Americans are BORING!  😉  The Sangeet is a another celebration of the couple and their families joining together. Rachna & Bharat’s was held at the Sheraton of Chapel Hill & had a Bollywood theme complete with photoshopped movie posters & movie quotes on every table! Family & friends performed for the bride & groom dances, songs, and even a roast by the groomsmen! My favorite part was when Rachna & Bharat gave their own choreographed dance. It was beautiful! My eyes were on awesome overload and it was amazing to be present & document all of that color & life! It only gets better at the wedding ceremony!
