The Hike

If this engagement session taught me anything it’s how out of shape I am after having Elias. However, it was a breeze for Gracelyn & Clark who hike and forage on the regular. This engagement session was just the start of such a beautiful journey for the 3 of us. I really got to know them as we hiked down to Crabtree Falls off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was peak season and it’s easy to see why Gracelyn & Clark chose this location. In addition to its beauty, waterfalls hold significance for these two since Clark proposed to Gracelyn at one.

Mountains for Days

We ended the session at one of the beautiful overlooks that the Blue Ridge Parkway has to offer. Mountains on top of mountains for as long as we could see. It still takes my breath away every time. Before the sun fully set Gracelyn & I sent Clark foraging for more mushrooms (more about that when I blog about their wedding) while she and I found another amazing overlook to snap a few GORGEOUS bridals…but I’m saving those for another blog.
