There’s nothing quite like some quality time with my hubs. We crave it! It’s so hard to get away from the every day grind, so last weekend we chose to unplug & run away to Blowing Rock, NC for the weekend! It was SO wonderful!
We stayed at the Inn at Crestwood, where Daniel & I married only a year & 1/2 ago and spent our weekend exploring little shops, eating amazing food, drinking just as amazing craft beer, and adventuring on some mountain tops! We didn’t take many photos because we really just wanted to soak up each other & our time, but how can you NOT take pictures when you’re at the top of the Rough Ridge trail or Beacon Heights?! The views are just too amazing to keep to yourself! Plus it doubled as scouting for what hopefully will turn into some magical mountain photo shoots! Who wants one?!
In my humble opinion, every couple should do this at least once and awhile. It’s so good to forget about all of the things that can drag us down and focus on what matters.God, our marriage, and our hopes and dreams for the future. It was a beautiful time in Blowing Rock and I hope we’ll spend many more weekends there with each other and hopefully our amazing clients!
