Earlier this week I went to a PUG meeting all about blogging. The beautiful Cyd Converse of The Sweetest Occasion gave a room full of photographers a 101 crash course. According to Cyd, I’m already on the right track, but I’m making a few minor changes that you may or may not notice. The first being all of the details from each wedding will now be posted at the bottom of the wedding to make for easier access to the photographs! Stay tuned for some new segments that are in development as well. Ok enough chit-chat, let’s get to the good stuff! Molly & Chuck’s wedding!

Molly & Charles had a beautiful May evening for their wedding. The sun came out and dried up all of the rain from earlier, beautiful clouds filtered through the sky, & every one was relaxed and peaceful. During the getting ready time, Molly & her bridesmaids kicked back & enjoyed some champagne, joy, & laughter. No on in a rush, everyone taking it alllll in! The colors Molly & Chuck selected popped in the evening sun, everything was bright & cheerful, so fitting to everyones moods! As in their You + Me Engagement session, Molly & Chuck were up for whatever photos I wanted to take, Chuck even suggested we go back out at night to take some pictures with the lights! Oh darn! Twist my arm! Black Tie Entertainment brought the party as always & I had such a fun time snapping away at all of the details and animated guests! The whole day had such an air of peace & joy! Thank you Molly & Chuck for allowing me to capture it all!

How did you meet?
We met on Match.com. We were not each other’s match’s, he claims he searched for me for quite a while before he found me.
How did your fiance propose?
He proposed to me on my birthday after giving me presents he had gotten me for my birthday, adding that there was one more. He asked me to close my eyes and find it among the other gifts but I could not find it. So he had me close my eyes and put out my hand and then He asked me to be his wife. I said yes so fast he asked me again; again I said yes.
Tell me a bit about the planning process for your wedding (how did you pick the venue, colors, funny stories, etc..):
What details at your wedding had special significance? Almost everything; we had a nature themed wedding with the colors eggplant, silver, and of course green. Purple is just one of my favorite colors.
What was the most memorable moment(s) of your day?
When we said I will of course!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
When we were running down the hill towards you and almost pushed you into the lake!
If you had to do it all over, would you change anything?
YES, if budget permitted I would make it longer more time to visit with people, more time to dance and have fun! Everything went by soooo fast I felt like I was running through the whole thing just to enjoy myself and have time to be with Chuck, my family and friends.
What was your favorite wedding purchase?
So many! The Cherry wood Nickel, that Chuck refurbished to go under our cake, our cake topper of a man fishing and the bride reaching up for the ring on the end of the fishing pole. The moving butterflies, located at specific locations in the reception.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Cancun, Mexico!
Any advice for future bride & grooms?
Get someone to video tape the ceremony and the reception because it goes by so fast and it feels like your missing it. Make sure to take time to dance with your family and friends because its you and your husband’s party! Lastly, enjoy it and remember nothing has to be perfect make the day feel like you. Make yourself happy with your big day. I really like this one quote, your wedding is not the best moment of your life your marriage is.

She also played for the Groomsmen to walk down but I did not ask for a specific music./ First Dance: The best of me by Michael Buble. So Perfect!
