Welcome to my blog! I'm thrilled to be able to share with you my favorite images from weddings, engagements, maternity, and more! Grab a cup of coffee and get snuggly cuz this blog will give you all the feels!
During the past Christmas season I was blessed to be able to take pictures of 3 gorgeous babies! 1 teeny tiny little newborn girl, Gia, and two 3 month old chubby little bundles of joy, Daniel and Ava! None of them are related but they’re all just so cute I want to eat them! Yes…I’ve gotten to that phase in my life where I want to eat babies…I never thought i’d succumb! Their JUST SO CUTE! AHHH! You ladies out there will know exactly what I’m talking about…but the rest of the world….yeah just give me that weird look, I’m expecting it.
Any who, since these shoots were all so close together I thought I’d combine them into one! Prepare yourself…you may want to find a place where no one is looking or can hear you because you WILL be making a fool out of yourself staring at the computer screen. There’s just no way not to when there are babies with THIS MUCH CUTE!
Happy Wednesday!

We’ll start with the youngest, baby Gia! You may remember her parent’s Michelle and Bill from their Baby Bump session this past autumn. They sure made a gorgeous little girl! It was such an honor to meet her and I can’t wait to see her in just a few months for her 6 month session!
Next let me introduce you to Danielle. He’s as sweet as little boys get! After he woke up from his nap he was a ball of energy and funny faces. I especially love the stink eye shot I got!
Last, but certainly not least is my new friend Ava. She is such a little beauty! Her big blue eyes coupled with her dark locks, her Dad will need to keep her under lock and key when she gets older!
Harley and I have been friends for awhile. I met him while he was still in high school and I had just moved to Syracuse. Now he’s making me feel extremely old by getting married! He and his AMAZING fiance Kassie are the perfect match! We spent the day in Skaneateles playing in the little snow there was. Harley proposed there so it seemed like the perfect spot for their engagement session. On our way, we passed by this great abandoned farm and we took a chance and got some great shots! Sometimes I just have to go with what inspires me! We’re going to have so much fun on their wedding day! I can’t wait!

Consider me cliche if you will, but what else is a photographer obsessed with love and amazing couples suppose to do on Valentines Day?! It’s time to share the super sweet You + Me session of Heidi and Matt! Plus Heidi is wearing red so it correlates just beautifully!
We started the session at Recess Coffee, where they love to get their java fix and then wandered around the deserted Inner Harbor where they shared their first date! All of this happened just before hurricane Sandy blew into town. Despite the gray and rain soaked clouds, Heidi and Matt’s love for one another was just radiant! I hope everyone is having beautiful Valentines Day! Despite the commercialism of it all, it is a nice sentiment to share love with everyone around. We don’t do it enough! So let me say I LOVE YOU! I’m going to enjoy this sunny love day (single and sassy!!) with so much love for my family and friends that I can’t contain it!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO,

Tomorrow I will officially close the door on my Central NY chapter, pack up my car (actually it’s already packed!), and take the long drive down to North Carolina where I will be starting a new story. Central NY has been such a wonderful part of my life. It’s where my family is settled, where my friends and I have laughed and loved, where I first picked up a camera, it’s where I fell in love with wedding photography. There is just so much that CNY has given me that my heart is over flowing so much that it’s very difficult to write this blog.
I know a lot of people will read this and think “Then why are you moving?” No, it’s not to get away from the snow, although that’s an added perk! The real reason is because I feel God’s call on my life. Some of you may not understand and some of you may know exactly what I’m talking about. For me and my journey, God has been steadfast despite my rebellions and failures. In my daily life I have tried so hard to be faithful with what he has given me. I strive to show His love in every photo I take and with every person I interact with. So when I hear His voice telling me to pick up and move 10 hours away to invest into a ministry, then I obey. No there’s no job opportunity, no secure financial future, just faith and a knowledge that i’m going from something good to something better!
Faith is a scary thing sometimes, stepping out onto thin air goes against our nature. We want to see the solid ground beneath our feet. I have had enough of those “leaps” to know that God will catch me no matter what. So here I am taking the biggest leap of my life into my Father’s hands and I am beyond excited!
Now that I’ve told you the why let me tell you about the how. Remember back in November how I took this great road trip down the east coast? Well one of those stops was in Kernersville, NC to visit my dear friends the Shroyers. I have been friends with this family since I was about 10 or 11. Mike and his wife Ami have helped me in so many ways over the years and their children J. Michael and Sadie bring me such joy! When I visited their newly started ministry, Cre8, back in November I was immediately drawn to what they were doing. They have such a heart to love on people and help them on a very personal level. I am joining them at their home which is also their church. So, here is the Shroyer’s first photo shoot at their new ministry home where I will be spending most of my time. You’ll be seeing a lot more of them in the future and I am so so so thrilled to be part of what they’re doing in NC!
J. Michael is one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet!
Sadie has the most amazing fashion sense! She’s got some serious creativity!
Even though they might not always get along, J. Michael and Sadie are true brother and sister. They always take care of one another.
Mike and Ami are so completely wonderful and are a great example of how to stay in love!
I just adore this family!
Some outtakes from our November shoot.
