Welcome to my blog! I'm thrilled to be able to share with you my favorite images from weddings, engagements, maternity, and more! Grab a cup of coffee and get snuggly cuz this blog will give you all the feels!
I really love how small this world can be some times. Granted, Syracuse isn’t a very large city, but I think it’s large enough to frequently meet new people. One of the great joys of being a photographer is that I get to make new friends on a regular basis! But I digress, the world really IS very tiny, whether we think so or not! Everyone is connected in some way!
Take Connie for instance, her Mom found my website online by just browsing photographers. No business card from a friend, no referral from a co-worker. So she emailed me and we started a chatting about her daughters senior portraits. We decided to do a home shoot so Connie could get pictures done with her horse (Woohoo!) so I needed their address. Their home happened to be very close to where I grew up. In fact, Connie attended my Alma Mater! Points there, because our school is VERY small! I graduated with only 50 some odd people in my class! So we had A LOT of people in common. When we were about half way through the shoot, Connie’s dad came home from work and low and behold I had known him from my childhood! He and my parents were friends! Weird, small, crazy world that I love! It was such a wonderful evening getting to know everyone! They even invited me for dinner! There’s nothing like sharing a meal together! Thank you to Connie, Caroline, and the rest of your wonderful family for allowing me to spend time with you and capture Connie’s beauty!
Every now and then I’m privileged to shoot a senior session. Marcel’s situation was unique because he was about to graduate when I shot these images. His mother, Diane, wanted a more in depth session than what he had for the year book. I was so excited when they called me! Especially because Marcel went to Fabius-Pompey, my old alma mater and his sister is a good friend!
Marcel is extremely smart! He’s going to school for physics! Wow! Anyone who chooses to go into science or math gets HUGE kudos from me! I couldn’t even imagine spending at least 4 years studying that! Seriously Marcel, you’re AMAZING! Thank you to you and your mother for everything!
Marcel’s home overlooks Jamesville Reservoir, it just happened to be Balloon Fest! Seriously amazing!
Such a hard job I have! Look at this handsom face!
People say California has yummy light…I think Central NY is right up there with em!
We do not lack for beautiful sunsets!
