Welcome to my blog! I'm thrilled to be able to share with you my favorite images from weddings, engagements, maternity, and more! Grab a cup of coffee and get snuggly cuz this blog will give you all the feels!
Adventure sessions are always so much fun because we get to spend time with a beautiful family exploring something new! They can be at a new location that you’ve never been before, doing an activity you love as a family, or doing something crazy like throwing paint on each other! They’re not an all day session like our Day In The Life Sessions, but they’re still a lot of fun and you can get so many beautiful moments out of them!
We had a great adventure with the Wood Family exploring Bethabara Park in Winston Salem. There is so much rich history right in Winston Salem and the kids had a great time learning all about it as we wandered through the park. The Wood’s were so wonderful to photograph because they had no problem playing games, snuggling, or showing love to one another. They’re a very tight knit group and it was wonderful having all of the generations there to spend an afternoon together. We hope this is the start of many more fun sessions with the Woods!

A Day in the Life session is where Daniel & myself capture the magic of every day life. We’ll be spending an entire day with you capturing all of the beautiful little moments that make up your daily routine. This is the direction we’ll be moving with all of our family photography away from the perfectly posed and into the naturally beautiful! Don’t get me wrong, posed portraits are great and we do them well, but I think there’s something extra special about capturing a day in time. Kids grow so quickly and the little moments pass us by every day. How amazing is it to freeze those moments forever? To remember the messy faces, make-believe, the tired cries, and all of the things in between! The more Daniel and I grow in our love for our craft the more we have an appreciation for these little moments. Day in the Life sessions make my heart sing and I can’t wait to share with you more and more!
The Smiths are one of my favorite families to photograph! We’ve done so many fun sessions together! When I approached them with the idea of a Day In The Life session they didn’t quite know what to make of it, but they said “we trust you!” There was still a mix of that old system of how we did things so there’s a mix of moments and posed here, but it’s moving towards a story and stories made to be told over and over. “Life is a book. We fill the pages” – Victoria Valentine.
When I arrived not everyone was quite ready yet, which was okay in my book! It allowed me to spend some time watching Raymond with his Aunty Em. They played and played until it was time for Baby Gabe to get in the spotlight. Little Ray loves being a big brother and put on his superhero mask & cape to take care of Baby Gabe. It was a beautiful afternoon capturing tons of sweet moments & snuggles! I can’t wait for the next time!

Shannon and her sweet family are one of my favorites to get to spend time & hang out with! Shannon always makes me look fabulous when I get my hair done with her and in turn I make her & her family look fabulous with our photography! This time she brought along her extended family too and they are a riot, let me tell you what!
We ventured into Shannon’s neighbor’s property (don’t worry permission was given) in Kernersville, NC and found this fantastic field with a very cool old building. We watch the kids run, snuggled sweet new babies, and showcased the legacy of generations for this sweet family. I can’t wait until we get to spend quality time with this sweet family again!
