When does a wedding photographer go on vacation? Why in the middle of winter of course! I have been blessed to be able to visit one of my best friends in sunny Florida for a week! I plan on documenting the whole trip & blogging as much as possible. Hopefully it’ll bring a little sunshine your way!

I arrived in Florida at 1am Tuesday morning after flying…and sitting on a plane for 5 hours (it should have taken 3!). Delays were rapant, but it was worth the wait to see my wonderful friend Donna! I pretty much tackled her in the airport.

We stayed at her friends home for the night and I was welcomed in the morning with warm hugs and some sweet beats by Jess & her son Jonathan. He is one musically talented little dude! Only 3 years old & rockin it on the drums!

At lunchtime, Jess, Donna, & I ventured out into Orlando. We had lunch at this amazing vegan restaurant called Ethos Vegan Kitchen. Honestly some of the best bruschetta I’ve ever had!

Donna bought an old camera of mine and has since caught the “Photog Bug.” She can’t stop shooting! So we had several impromptu photo shoots that day.

We ended our time in Orlando by getting pedicures. The lady who worked on my feet was amazing! She even did a cute little hibiscus flower on my big toes! I can’t stop looking at them!
